This timeless, unique and versatile gown combo is actually three looks in one!  !  I love dresses (I work in fashion in NYC on a dress line) and couldn't narrow down what I wanted to just one style; I was torn between modern and classic.  I wanted something dramatic to fit our French chateau setting, but also something sleek and stylish that would be easier to walk around in for cocktail hour, in addition to a dress that would show off my figure and be easy to dance in for the rest of the evening.  So instead of buying three dresses, my solution was one dress with three looks, which was a huge hit at our wedidng.

Look 1- A beautiful Carolina Herrera belted skirt over a sleek Romona Keveza column dress for a 1950's Dior look.

Look 2- I took off the Carolina Herrera overskirt and replaced that with a custom cape with arm cuffs worn over the Romona Keveza column dress.

Look 3- I wore the Romona Keveza colum dress on its own with statement earrings and a fun purse.

Some info about each piece-

  • Carolina Herrera overskirt- This skirt was made to go with the Josefina dress.  Happily, I was able to purchase the skirt seperately without purchasing the Josefina dress.  This is adjusted to fit a 28 1/2" waist but would be easy to adjust to another size as it has a hook/bar and snap closure.  Silk Faille base with layers of tulle overlay.  There are beautiful flowers appliqués down the back.  They looked gorgeous with the light shining through (see pictures).
  • Romona Keveza Column Dress- Mark Ingram Atelier in NYC carries both Carolina Herrera and Romona Keveza, so I was able to wear the skirt and dress together in the salon to be sure the color match was perfect.  Silk Crepe.
  • Custom Cape and Arm Cuffs- This was based off of the dress that Emma Watson wore to her London Beauty and the Beast premier.  You could also wear the cape without the arm cuffs, as they are not connected to each other (the cape and each cuff constitute 3 seperate pieces).  The cape and cuffs snap onto the inside edge of the Romona Keveza dress.  I can send additional pictures of this upon request.  A seamstress at Mark Ingram custom made the cape and cuffs for me.  Amazingly, the place I bought the fabric for the cape turned out to be the fabric supplier for Romona Keveza.  So they were able to give me an exact color match to the colum gown.

Please message me with any questions you may have!  I might also be open to selling the pieces seperately.  All pieces have been drycleaned and are in perfect condition.
